Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal accountants to ensure client queries are resolved efficiently.
  • Support the preparation and submission of Confirmation StatementsCorporation Tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients regarding their Accounting and Compliance obligations
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

  • Up to 1 year of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or client support role within a professional services environment.

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and tax compliance e.g., VAT, Corporation Tax, Confirmation Statements.

Other Details

This is a full-time, in-office position in a UK-based accounting firm located in Sylhet. Working hours are from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM Bangladesh Time, with a 1-hour break time.

The candidate must work from our office location and maintain punctuality and regular attendance. Weekends are Saturday and Sunday.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and can communicate effectively in English. This is a long-term role, and the salary will be based on experience, to be discussed during the interview process.
