Job Responsibilities
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Laravel Support Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Laravel-based applications. The ideal candidate will have solid Laravel and PHP knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with hosting, FTP, and cloud server environments. You should be comfortable handling client issues and ensuring uptime and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support for Laravel applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues reported by clients or internal users
- Monitor application and server performance, logs, and uptime
- Manage deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Laravel applications on hosting platforms
- Assist clients with hosting-related setup, domain, FTP accounts, SSL, and server configuration issues
- Document support processes, solutions, and best practices
- Ensure timely resolution and follow-up of support tickets
Requirements
- Strong experience with Laravel, PHP, and MySQL
- Familiarity with Linux server environments and command line
- Experience managing FTP accounts and troubleshooting FTP issues
- Understanding of web hosting concepts, domain management, SSL, DNS, and server security
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud hosting providers like AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, or Linode
- Familiarity with server management tasks such as backups, security, and optimization
- Prior experience in client-facing technical support or system administration roles
- Comfortable creating documentation and user guides for clients
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
