Job Responsibilities

An ICT web and multimedia assistant manages an organization's online presence, which includes developing and maintaining websites, creating and editing multimedia content, and providing technical support. 

Key responsibilities

  • Website management

Update and develop websites, manage content, and ensure platforms are attractive and engaging. 

  • Multimedia creation

Design and develop multimedia content, which can include images, video, and audio, for websites and social media. 

  • Social media management

Manage and update social media accounts, such as Facebook, Google, and YouTube. 

  • Technical support

Provide support for the organization's ICT systems and assist with hardware and software issues. 

  • Data management

Help manage and store data effectively, often within cloud-based systems. 

Requirements

  • Provide first-level technical support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Utilize web and multimedia skills to support social media and content marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and content management systems like WordPress.
  • Knowledge of video production, graphic design, and other media content.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively assist and train colleagues and users.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and quickly adapt to new technologies.

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is often preferred. 
  • Certifications in areas like web development, networking, or specific technologies can be advantageous. 

Experience

Minimum 1 year of IT experience,pereferably in an adminstrative setting
