Oversee and maintain all electrical systems, panels, motors, wiring, and equipment within the cold storage facility.
Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration compressors, condensers, evaporators, and related control systems.
Monitor and ensure stable power supply and voltage regulation for temperature control units and backup systems.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in chillers, compressors, and control circuits.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and daily operation reports.
Coordinate with refrigeration and mechanical teams to ensure uninterrupted operation of the cold storage facility.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Support installation and commissioning of new electrical or automation equipment.
Maintain adherence to electrical safety codes and energy efficiency standards.
Strong knowledge of:
Three-phase electrical systems
Motor control circuits DOL, Star-Delta, etc.
Industrial power distribution
Basic PLC/control system understanding
Refrigeration system electrical control
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of generator, transformer, and backup power systems.
Familiarity with energy-saving practices in cold storage environments.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial or cold storage electrical systems preferred.
