Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee inpatient admissions, transfers and discharges on the patient floor.

• Provide clinical care on the patient floor: evaluation of new admitted patients, regular ward rounds, liaising with consultants, coordinating care plans.

• Work closely with nursing staff, allied health services, and other clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow and high quality care.

• Monitor patient condition changes, escalate to senior consultants when required, and document appropriately.

• Assist in patient & family communication regarding care plan, and ensure patient‑safety protocols are followed.

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings on the floor, help execute hospital policies regarding inpatient care and documentation.
