Maintain daily accounts, ledgers, and cash books
Manage school fees collection, receipts, and due records
Prepare monthly salary sheets and manage payroll
Maintain records of expenses, bills, and vouchers
Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
Manage bank transactions, deposits, and reconciliations
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
Ensure compliance with school financial policies
Support audits and provide required financial documents
Maintain confidentiality of financial data
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
Ability to maintain accurate financial records
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Good organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Honest, responsible, and trustworthy
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
B.Com preferred
Professional accounting training or certification is an advantage
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an accountant
Prior experience in a school or educational institution is preferred
