Job Responsibilities

 

  • Data Entry & Bookkeeping:
    • Accurately enter and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online, including invoices, bills, payments, and expenses.
    • Ensure proper coding of transactions according to accounting standards and company policies.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting Support:
    • Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and petty cash.
    • Support the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries as needed.
  • Record Maintenance:
    • Maintain organized, up-to-date digital financial records and documentation.
    • Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in data entry promptly.
  • Remote Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with the finance team through email, chat, or video calls.
    • Submit completed tasks on time while managing workload independently.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement:
    • Gain proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other finance tools.
    • Suggest improvements for remote bookkeeping processes and efficiency.

 

Requirements

 

  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets formulas, tables, and basic reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to organize digital records systematically.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for remote work.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

 

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
