Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging IELTS preparation classes.
- Teach all four IELTS modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
- Assess students' English proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular mock tests and practice exams.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' writing and speaking performance.
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, worksheets, and classroom activities.
- Track students' progress and maintain academic records.
- Guide students on IELTS test strategies, time management, and exam techniques.
- Create a positive, interactive, and student-centered learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest IELTS examination patterns and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Support students with academic counseling regarding IELTS preparation.
Requirements
- Minimum IELTS Overall Band Score of 6.0.
- Higher IELTS scores Band 7.0 or above will receive preference.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of IELTS test format and assessment criteria.
- Ability to motivate and manage students effectively.
- Good presentation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online teaching platforms will be an advantage.
- IELTS teaching certifications TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
Education
Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching IELTS or English language courses.
