Job Responsibilities

 

  • Welcome guests and seat them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.
  • Take customer orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout the dining experience.
  • Respond to customer requests and resolve minor complaints courteously.
  • Set up and clear dining tables before and after service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
  • Assist in banquet, party, and event services when required.
  • Follow all restaurant hygiene, safety, and service standards.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the restaurant management.

 

Requirements

 

  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Friendly, polite, and well-groomed personality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and time management skills.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

 

Education

 

  • Minimum SSC/HSC or equivalent.
  • Higher qualifications are welcome.

 

Experience

Previous experience as a waiter in a restaurant, hotel, or café will be preferred.
