Job Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics according to the approved curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging classroom instruction.
- Assess students through classwork, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
- Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide guidance and academic support to students as needed.
- Prepare and maintain students' attendance and academic records.
- Participate in school meetings, training programs, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students' progress.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the school administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and effective teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and online teaching tools is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, question papers, and assess student performance.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed./M.Ed. will be considered an added advantage if applicable.
- Strong academic background in Mathematics is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school, college, or educational institution will be preferred.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics and preparing lesson plans, examinations, and assessments will be an added advantage.
