Job Responsibilities
- Provide medical assessment and immediate care to patients attending the hospital.
- Examine patients, take medical histories, and assess their clinical conditions.
- Attend to emergency cases and take appropriate initial medical decisions.
- Monitor admitted patients and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient medical records.
- Prescribe medications and investigations according to clinical requirements.
- Coordinate with Senior Medical Officers, consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure proper communication with patients and their attendants regarding treatment and necessary procedures.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and professional medical standards.
- Handle medical emergencies efficiently and escalate critical cases when required.
Requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council BMDC.
- Relevant hospital experience will be preferred.
- Good clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in shifts and under pressure.
- Responsible, patient-focused, and professional attitude.
Education
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical college/university.
- Valid BMDC registration.
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant hospital/clinical experience preferred.
- Fresh MBBS doctors with valid BMDC registration may also be considered.
