Job Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair hotel electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot wiring, lighting, power supply, and electrical panel issues.
- Monitor generators, UPS, distribution boards, and other electrical equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and electrical inspections.
- Respond to electrical faults and emergency breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure all electrical work follows proper safety procedures.
- Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Guide and supervise junior electricians when required.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Department for major electrical work.
- Support uninterrupted electrical operations across guest rooms and hotel facilities.
Requirements
- Strong practical knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, generators, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Ability to handle urgent electrical issues independently.
- Leadership and team-management skills will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
Education
- SSC/HSC with relevant electrical training/certification preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a hotel, resort, hospital, commercial building, or similar establishment.
