Job Summary
Steckly Power Services is seeking a motivated and skilled 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to enhance their technical abilities and gain hands-on experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across industrial and low-voltage systems. Key Responsibilities

Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment.

Support senior electricians in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing diagnostic tests.

Learn to interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and test instruments.

Participate in building, testing, and commissioning electrical systems.

Work on industrial, commercial, and low-voltage electrical projects as assigned.

Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and electrical codes.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
Requirements

Must be a third or fourth year Apprentice Electrician preferred.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation methods.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Strong willingness to learn and follow direction from licensed electricians.

Excellent work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to lift moderate weights and work with power tools.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Education

Secondary School Diploma required.

Enrollment in a registered electrical apprenticeship program preferred/required depending on company standards.
Experience
-
Previous experience as an apprentice electrician is preferred, especially 3rd or 4th year.

Experience in industrial or low-voltage electrical work is an asset.

This is an on-site role based in Listowel, ON.

Competitive wage range based on experience and apprenticeship level: $17.95–$40.00 per hour.
